Which challenge lengthshould I pick?
Pick 30, 75, 90 or 100 days and the day count runs to that length. A 75 Hard or 75 soft run fits 75 days. Planning a year of daily photos instead? See photo a day.
The count runs from D+1 to D+75, and this example is at D+38.
How do I track a 75 Hardchallenge with photos?
Set a start day and goal, choose Start at D+1 for day 1, then take a photo each day from the same spot.

What challengers ask aboutphoto day numbers.
What does D+N mean?
D+N is the number of days since your start day, and D-N is the number of days left until a date ahead of you. dayLime works the number out and stamps it on the photo the moment you press the shutter.
Is the start day D-Day or D+1?
You can choose. By default the start day reads D-Day and the next day D+1. Pick Start at D+1 under Display in the D-Day settings and the start day itself reads D+1, so a 100 day challenge begins at D+1. A third way, Count down to goal, counts the days left until your goal date.
Can I set a goal such as D+100?
Yes. You can give a slot a goal in days. The home screen widget then shows how many days are left, and Goal achieved when you get there.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your day count keeps going, because it is calculated from the start date and not from how many photos you took. The separate streak on the stats screen stays alive through today if you shot yesterday, and it resets once a whole day passes with no photo.
What is ghost mode?
Ghost mode lays your most recent photo from the same slot over the live camera as a see-through guide, so you can line up the same framing. It is a preview only and is not saved into your photo. The overlay starts at 40 percent opacity and has a slider.
Who can see my shared record?
Only people who have your link. The address is a random 10-character code. For each share you choose original photos, blurred photos or numbers only, and you can turn the link off at any time.
Does dayLime check the rules of a 75 Hard challenge?
No. dayLime keeps the photo record of a challenge: each photo carries its day number, and the Sticky note share format turns the days into a wall of numbered notes without any photos. It does not define or score a challenge, so there is no rule checklist.
Is dayLime free?
Yes. It is free to download and use, and a banner ad shows on the camera screen. Slots beyond the free ones are a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription.
